Welcome to the sharks fundraising page
We are looking for parents from all squads to join us and help raise some funds to support the development of our kids, as well as having some fun along the way! Looking at the talent we have in the swimming pool, we are certain there is a wealth of skills and/or connections amongst parents that could really make a difference. We are looking for as much or as little support as you feel able to donate in the following areas:
- Create and manage the fundraising page on the Sharks website
- Organise an external fundraising event e.g. Wolf Run, pub quiz or similar
- Be part of the organising committee for Sharks events, including Summer BBQ, Xmas party/club awards night
- Manage the 100 club
- Coordinate a fun swim event
- Create a sponsorship package to attract funding from local businesses
- Secure charity grants from community schemes e.g. Waitrose Community Matters, Persimmon Homes Charity Champions, Co-op Local Community Fund
Our key aim is to raise funds to support the development of all members and this will mostly be spent on coaching equipment, along with raising the profile of Sharks in the local community, to help secure sponsorship and future talent.
Stratford Sharks is registered as a charity on Give as you Live, which is a free way to raise funds for the club from online shopping at over 4,200 online stores.
